Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions:
1. Appointments
All appointments are booked subject to these Terms & Conditions. By making a booking, the client confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the Cancellation Policy.
Clients are asked to arrive on time for their appointment. Arriving late may result in a shortened treatment time so that the next client's appointment can begin as scheduled. The full treatment fee remains payable where the appointment has been shortened due to the client's late arrival.
2. Health and Medical Information
Before treatment, clients must provide accurate and complete information about any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, medications or other circumstances that may affect their suitability for massage therapy.
Clients must inform the therapist of any changes to their health or circumstances before each treatment.
The therapist reserves the right to decline or modify treatment where they reasonably believe that massage may be unsuitable or unsafe.
Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Where appropriate, clients may be advised to seek advice from their GP or another qualified healthcare professional before receiving treatment.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, at least 24 hours' notice is required.
Cancellation with 24 hours or more notice
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with 24 hours or more notice will not normally incur a cancellation charge, subject to any applicable booking or deposit terms.
Cancellation within 24 hours
If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, the full deposit amount will be retained.
Failure to attend
If a client fails to attend an appointment without providing notice, the full amount of the booked treatment will be forfeited and/or charged.
Repeated cancellations, rescheduling or non-attendance may result in future appointments requiring payment in advance.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances can occur. Cancellation charges may be waived or amended at the therapist's discretion where there are exceptional circumstances.
Any decision to waive a cancellation charge is made on a case-by-case basis and does not create an obligation to waive charges for future appointments.
5. Therapist Cancellation
If the therapist needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible.
Where an appointment is cancelled by the therapist and an alternative appointment cannot be arranged, any payment made specifically for that appointment will be refunded.
6. Payment
Payment is due at the time of booking / on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed, a deposit of 25% will be taken at time of booking and the balance will be paid on day of treatment.
Where a cancellation fee applies, the client agrees that the applicable amount may be retained from any deposit or prepayment already made. Where the amount held is insufficient to cover the applicable charge, the outstanding balance may be requested.
7. Treatment and Professional Boundaries
All treatments are strictly professional therapeutic services.
Sexual or inappropriate behaviour, comments, requests or conduct will not be tolerated. The therapist reserves the right to immediately terminate a treatment where professional boundaries are breached. The full treatment fee may remain payable in such circumstances.
8. Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their own personal belongings while attending an appointment. The business accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property except where required by law.
9. Confidentiality
Information provided by clients in connection with their treatment will be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable UK data protection and privacy requirements.
10. Agreement
